Clifford Essex Vintage 5 String Banjo in Original Case

Lovely 5 string Clifford Essex of London ,England banjo in original case. Good quality vellum ,open back ,neck adjustment device,lovely action,straight neck,beautiful mahogany wood. Ebony fingerboard,original fittings ,great original geared head tuners. (Side peg has been replaced with matching but non original). First fret,near to nut, has had a small repair as a tiny bit of vaneer had worn away) Plays absolutely great and sound stunning. Original case all works ,bottom end a bit tatty and worn but all OK. Hanle and clasps all original and working .

A great find and needs to go to a player or collector who can make the most of the instrument
