Description
Pluscom's USB to Fast LAN Ethernet adapter (Converter) is plug and play and hot pluggable. It allows you to connect your PC to an Ethernet Network (LAN) without requiring a normal Ethernet card. This Adaptor eliminates the need to open your computer's cover to plug a network card into an expansion slot Ideal for computers which don't have Ethernet ports as standard.
It also saves your notebook's PC Card slot for other use. Installation and use are further simplified by living up to USB's out-of-the-box installation approach to connecting computer peripherals.
The device is fully compliant with USB 1.1, 1.1 and 2.0 specifications and supports full and half duplex 10 / 100 modes. The adapter supports both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet function based on IEEE802.3/IEEE802.3u LAN standard.
