Grey Granite ballast chippings suitable for N & Z gauge model railway trackwork.
We supply the same size chippings for Z gauge as we do for N gauge.
We generally recommend that 2 bags will comfortably cover 10 metres of Tracklay.
We have found that N gauge looks pleasing to the eye when used on Z gauge trackwork, going smaller ( although more to scale) the chippings become almost dust and don't look right. The picture of the yellow wagon is actually a greatly enlarged Z gauge section using N gauge chips, we think you will agree it does not look amiss.
Please rinse all your chippings and allow to dry before use, this will remove the fine dust that is inevitable with all chippings. These are the same chippings that we supply with the trial sample of Tracklay.
